The Principality of Monaco:

This is a major tourist cruise attraction in that it is in an ideal seaside location and offers great night time entertainment thanks to its notorious gambling attractions. It is enveloped by France and has always been a sovereign state with its own laws. Cruises to San Remo are known as flower cruise. This is due to the fact that San Remo has a large flower market. It is also a very fashionable resort in the northern coast of Italy. Each year Italians also hold a very popular musical event and historically it is where the First World War peace treaty was ratified.

Genoa:

This is Italy's main port in the fertile region of Liguria on the west coast of Italy. It is a most popular cruise destination in the Mediterranean only second to Marseille in France.
